Walmart and Gap, et al won't pay 35 cents an hour, or ban child labor in international countries like Bangaladesh.

Disturbing Video About Who Makes your Pants, etc.
1911 Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire in NYC which killed 146 workers, most of them young women, found fire and smoke on one exit, and a locked door on the other. Many jumped out of the windows. This case put Labor Laws in place in two months as Unions, Women's Groups and Community Groups demanded it, but  other countries are not given similar laws to protect them.

Dec. 14, 2010: another factory in Bangaladesh trapped workers on the 11th floor. Many jumped out the windows so their parents would have their bodies to bury. Management locks the exit gates during a fire often, to prevent stealing. Workers labor 12-15 hrs a day with one day off a month.

In Triangle Factory they made 14 cents an hour. Inflation equals over $3 an hour today. Gap and Walmart wouldn't pay 35 cents an hour. The demonstrators were beaten, sprayed w/ dyed water canons for later arrest,  and arrested on the scene.
